Creamy Cream cheese Icing

Ok!! Who in the world does not like cream cheese icing!!??!! I love it; but there is a trick to it. Too much cream cheese and it can very rich; too little and it tastes odd (for lack of a better word).

This recipe is super duper simple and gets RAVE reviews!!!

1/2 Cup Butter (Soften)
1/2 Cup Cream Cheese (Soften)
4 Cups Icing Sugar
2 tsp Vanilla
Food Coloring - As much or as little as you need to get the color right!*

In a large mixing bowl, or a large bowl with a hand mixer combine butter and cream cheese on a medium to high speed. On a slower speed add icing sugar a bit at a time (The large mixing bowl can take the whole amount if you have the protected around the bowl.). Once blended add vanilla and any food coloring (if needed).

*Start with only a few drops... a little goes a long way!

I use this on cupcakes... pictures to  follow!!

Sweet!!
